ZTC/OER Committee
Purpose
The ZTC/OER Committee advocates for the college-wide adoption of zero-cost textbooks to support student retention, success, and achievement.
The committee collaborates with various campus groups who share the mission of creating a more equitable environment for ÐÔÊÓ½ç students through zero- and low-cost textbooks.
Scope
This committee is open to all faculty, staff, administrators, and select students. The committee will:
- Work alongside the Textbook Transformation Project, ASCCC OERI Liaisons, and Academic Senate OER Liaisons to address ZTC and LCT course material usage, professional development training, implementation, and related topics.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of statewide legislation and initiatives under ASCCC OERI and communicate relevant information to the campus community.
- Collaborate with campus groups, partners, departments, and other stakeholders to overcome obstacles and address faculty and student concerns regarding ZTC and LCT course material usage.
