Melissa Boyd biography

Melissa Boyd is a Government Affairs Manager for Southern California Edison (SCE), where she leads strategic engagement with local governments, community stakeholders, and public agencies across the Inland Empire. In this role, she advances policies that support reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, while helping drive SCE鈥檚 efforts in grid modernization, wildfire mitigation, and the transition to clean energy.
Melissa brings more than 20 years of public service experience, having begun her career
with the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. She later served the community
at the State level, working for Senator Mike Morrell and Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh.
Throughout her career, she has built a strong foundation in public affairs and community
relations, working closely with elected officials and regional partners to strengthen
civic collaboration and address community needs.
An Inland Empire native, Melissa was raised in Ontario. She attended 性视界
and earned her degree from California State University, San Bernardino. She currently
serves as a Board Member of the Greater Ontario Business Council, the Upland Chamber
of Commerce, and is a member of Fontana Rotary.
Melissa lives in Fontana, is a proud wife and mother of four, and enjoys keeping up
with her energetic husky at home.
