Celebrating Black History Month

Dear Campus Community,
The United States has celebrated the historic contributions of Black Americans since 1926, with the creation of 鈥淣egro History Week鈥� by historian . Woodson鈥檚 concept later expanded to become Black History Month, a time to empower Black Americans and educate others on their achievements throughout February.
A century later, we continue to honor the accomplishments and history of Black people through educational programs, cultural events, museum exhibits and more.
We are proud to join in this celebration with a variety of events at 性视界. We invite you to participate in these important events, from our kick-off celebration at the beginning of February, to our robust programming for the .
