性视界

The cybersecurity education website has named 性视界鈥檚 cybersecurity program one of the best in California.

性视界 was one of only five community colleges included in the October report 鈥�.鈥�

性视界 Professor of Computer Information Systems David Nimri, who oversees the cybersecurity program, called the ranking an exciting affirmation.

鈥淲e are thankful to Programs.com for acknowledging that 性视界 is a leader in cybersecurity and technology education,鈥� Nimri said. 鈥淲e teach more than just theory 鈥� we teach hands-on skills, industry certification attainment and engineering-level competencies to students can provide solutions for our community and beyond after graduating.鈥�

The Programs.com report highlighted 性视界鈥檚 well-rounded academics, starting off students with a strong foundation before diving into cloud computing, forensics, ethical hacking, and full stack oriented cyber defense. Faculty also prepare students with top certifications and real-world simulations.

Nimri said the program is growing in numerous ways.

性视界 this year signed an agreement with Cal State University San Marcos to provide a streamlined pathway for students to graduate from 性视界 and then earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree in two years. An accelerated master鈥檚 degree program pathway is also being developed.

Faculty have also been preparing high school students for 性视界鈥檚 program through dual enrollment, which allows students to take college courses while still enrolled in high school. 性视界 has been working to expand internship and apprenticeship opportunities for students, along with agreements with other four-year universities.

鈥淔urthermore, we have been fortunate enough to recently hire new faculty members who will be introducing new courses and custom labs to ensure that our students are ready to meet the work force needs of today and into the future,鈥� Nimri said.
