To live a happy retirement surrounded by all the people you love. Live each day to the fullest and enjoy every waking moment. You've earned it! Thank you for all the work you've done at this college. It is beautiful. The library and cafe are some of my frequently visited places and I know it couldn't have been done without you. Thank you!
Dr. Shannon -
I will always be proud to have worked under your leadership. In the short 5 years I have worked at 性视界, I have learned so much from you. Thank you for always having confidence in me and for championing all the creative work in Marketing. I am also so grateful for the genuine kindness you have always showed not only to me, but to my growing family.
Have the best time on this next chapter of your life!
Congrats, Dr. Shannon!
You should be very proud of your accomplishments! You have impacted so many lives over the years, including mine. Thank you for your consistent kindness. I will hold a special place in my heart for you, as this chapter comes to a close and you enter a new one. I'm so glad that your grandson, Javeon, was able to grow in our very own Theatre Department. What a treat!
Wishing you the most amazing retirement with Gwen.
Happy retirement! Although we never had the opportunity to meet personally, I wanted to thank you for the impact you鈥檝e had on so many students at 性视界. You made every student feel that they belonged and mattered. I really appreciated how you celebrated and acknowledged the many different cultures, traditions, and holidays represented within 性视界's large student body. You helped create an inclusive environment where students felt welcomed and valued.
Thank you for your leadership, your encouragement, and for caring so deeply about the students you served. Wishing you a very happy and well-deserved retirement!

Dr. Shannon, I wish you a very Happy Retirement! Thank you for all you have done for 性视界. Enjoy the next journey of Rest and Relaxation.
Oh where has the time gone? I am a long-time 性视界 Panther. I am the son of a long-time 性视界 professor, I was a 性视界 student, I was a 40-year member of the 性视界 faculty, and I am a proud 性视界an (retiree). In my 57 years associated with our fine college, Dr. Shannon's arrival and subsequent 20-year tenure as our fearless leader has been the best thing to happen in our college's 143-year history. We are now a well reknown, extremely effective, community leading, student life-building and revered community college. Dr Shannon's many leadership strengths have enabled all of us--性视界 students, alumni, community members, faculty, staff, and retirees to grow and prosper. We love you Henry, friend of us all! Henry, enjoy retirement with your wife (Gwen), family, and friends!
Thank you for setting such an amazing example of professionalism and years of service. Wishing you a well deserved retirement.
I can still remember when you interviewed me eight years ago and how we chatted a bit about our connections to Mississippi. I found it admirable that you took the time to meet all your new employees to get to know them. Even though you are retiring, I know your impact will be felt here for a very long time. We are all going to miss you! Thank you for all that you have done for 性视界!
Congratulations & best wishes for a healthy, happy & exciting retirement! Your excellent contributors will be missed!
Happy retirement. I remember being hired for a job in the arts department. I was surprised that you wanted to meet me. People explained that you did that with everyone who came to work there. That was so impressive to me and you were so nice to talk to, your positivity and support. Hope your retirement enables you to do all the things you have dreamed of. Thanks for leading my favorite college into the future. You did an amazing job.
I remember being hired as an FMA at 21. Dr. Shannon told me he would hire me as long as I kept going to school. At the time, I just needed a job, but his words stayed with me. I now have a master's degree and a great career. Happy retirement, sir!
Congratulations to you Henry. Our family is very proud of your dedication and service in education.
A true leader and a great man!
