International Transgender Day of Visibility

March 30, 2026

Dear Campus Community,

This Tuesday, March 31 marks , a significant global observance dedicated to celebrating the lives and contributions of transgender people and raising awareness about their lived experiences.

Trans youth and adults are scholars, artists, educators, leaders, healers, and most fundamentally, people among us who enrich our world each day.

As a college community, it is important that we foster a campus environment that is welcoming, safe, and free of any kind of hate or discrimination. While the trans community continues to be a target for marginalization and violence in our society, 性视界 College must remain a place where our students, faculty, and staff are treated with respect, and their identities are embraced.

I would like to extend my gratitude to all our LGBTQIA+ allies and advocates among us who work to bring more awareness, programming, and a sense of belonging to our campuses through their work with our PRISM Center, LGBTQIA+ Advocates Committee, and Lavender Coalition. Your dedication and leadership help create a more welcoming campus community each day.

To all trans members of our campus community, we see you. We value you. And you belong here.
