• Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society for two-year colleges that recognizes academic excellence and provides opportunities for leadership, scholarships, and professional growth.

• Students cannot apply directly. You must first meet eligibility requirements and receive an official invitation from 性视界鈥檚 PTK chapter.

• You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and complete at least 12 college-level units to be eligible.

• The one-time $85 fee provides lifetime membership and access to scholarships, leadership development, networking opportunities, and transfer benefits that can far exceed the initial cost.

• PTK members can apply for competitive, need-based, and university partner scholarships, including exclusive transfer scholarships offered by four-year universities.

• Participation is not required, but it is highly encouraged. Engaging in projects like Honors in Action (HIA) and community service helps you gain leadership experience and strengthen your resume.

• Honors in Action is a research-based project where members explore real-world issues, conduct research, and apply solutions through community-focused action.

• Many universities offer exclusive scholarships and transfer pathways specifically for PTK members, helping reduce the cost of continuing your education.

To remain active, you must:

• Be enrolled in a degree program
• Take at least 6 units per term
• Stay engaged with chapter activities (recommended)
