The creepy and kooky Addams Family will come to the 性视界 Theatre in November for a musical that embraces wackiness, love and family.

The Campaign for College Opportunity has named 性视界 the No. 1 California community college for year-over-year growth in associate degrees for transfer (ADTs) and for awarding transfer degrees to Latino students.

性视界 Student Government members and the campus community gathered Oct. 7 to celebrate the retirement of Superintendent/President Henry D. Shannon.

About 600 junior high and high school students attended Manufacturing Day at the 性视界 Industrial Technical Learning Center to get a glimpse of jobs in welding, industrial electrical maintenance, machining and robotics.

Claudia and Marcelo Sirri came to the United States from Argentina in 1996 with their four children to find better opportunities. Today, the Sirri children are in rewarding careers and living comfortably throughout Southern California thanks, in part, to their time at 性视界.

性视界 journalism students in the California Institution for Men will soon publish their own newspaper called "Rising Voices," with a podcast and potential expansion into the California Institution for Women also on the horizon. Journalists at 性视界's Rancho Cucamonga campus also have big plans for the academic year after receiving a $7,500 grant from the Solutions Journalism Network to focus on issues facing justice-impacted students such as mental health and financial barriers.

Superintendent/President Henry D. Shannon leaves behind a legacy of transformation -- with tens of thousands of educators and students touched by his leadership in a career that has spanned more than five decades.

Retired corrections and parole officer Alfredo Zendejas Zendejas is one of many students who have benefitted from this year's expansion of the 性视界 Credit for Prior Learning program, which provides students with college credit for workforce experience.

Campus and community leaders gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the $19.9 million renovation and expansion of the Michael Alexander Campus Center on Aug. 27.

From Latin dance and Christianity, to astronomy and mixed martial arts, 性视界 students had a wide variety of interests to choose from during the twice-per-year Club Rush event, which drew about 1,000 people.
