Black robes, tassels, sashes and smiles filled Toyota Arena in Ontario on Thursday as 性视界 celebrated the completion of academic programs for more than 2,800 students.

More than 30 students at the California Institution for Men received degrees and certificates in a commencement ceremony at the prison on May 9.

They include aspiring teachers, lawyers, actors and more. Several are immigrants, the first in their families to go to college and many are waiting on letters from their "dream schools."

Award-winning Mexican-American writer and filmmaker, Mois茅s Zamora, will serve as 性视界's keynote speaker for the 108th Commencement Ceremony at Toyota Arena on May 22.

Seventh graders from De Anza Middle School in Ontario learned about manufacturing careers and entrepreneurship during a tour of the Industrial Technical Learning Center on April 3.

The splash of water and big smiles filled 性视界's Aquatic Center Thursday as community and campus leaders gathered to celebrate the completion of the center's $14.2 renovation project.

To support her journey toward becoming a homicide detective, 性视界 student Genesis Ruiz pursued the Miss Fontana crown, something she now hopes other 性视界 students will enter.

性视界's annual Disability Awareness Fair drew hundreds of people from the campus community to learn more about services available to disabled students on and off campus, grab some free food and listen to music.

With pounding drums, stomping feet and the images of Black leaders on display, 性视界 kicked off Black History Month at its Rancho Cucamonga campus on Feb. 10

The college awarded more than $71,000 to 1,421 students in the pilot phase of the Student Success Incentive program at 性视界.
