Lavender Celebration of Graduates (Spring Semester)
Are you graduating this year?
We鈥檇 love to have you participate in our Lavender Celebration where we recognize all
the accomplishments of the LGBTQIA+ graduates here at 性视界. The celebration includes
a short ceremony, a recognition of graduates and some great company! Participating
graduates will receive a rainbow stole and tassel. To learn more about how to participate,
email an Equity and Engagement staff member.
PRIDE (June)
Each June, we come together to recognize and celebrate the many extraordinary contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as the impact of queer historical figures on our nation鈥檚 history, culture, and society. PRIDE at 性视界 allows us to celebrate and learn about the ongoing fight for civil rights and equality.
Our annual PRIDE event features live performances, interactive activities, guest speakers, and local resource booths that highlight LGBTQIA+ voices. Attendees can enjoy activities, giveaways, and opportunities to learn more about inclusion, identity, and advocacy. We invite students, faculty, staff, and community members to join us as we celebrate PRIDE, regardless of identity, to stand together in support of love and diversity that strengthens our community.
